Naena Falls

About 5 minutes by car from the hotel

Naena Falls has been selected as one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan. With a drop of 55m, the sight of the water splashing down is impressive! Naena Falls where you can enjoy various valley beauty such as fresh green....

Sasagamine

About 20 minutes by car from the hotel

There are many promenades on the Sasagamine Hights located at the altitude of 1,300 meters, and you can enjoy hiking from spring to autumn. Its hiking road could be also maintained for many runners practice.

The upside-down Mt. Myoko reflected on the surface of the lake is a superb view. There is a promenade around it, and you walk around it in about 15 minutes while watching various flowers and wild birds in each season. Its visitor center show you how you enjoy Myoko.

Suginohara Ski Resort

About 5 minutes on foot from the hotel

You can enjoy a long course with a maximum running distance of 8.5km and its elevation difference is 1,124m. This is one of the biggest in Japan. You can enjoy skiing on high-quality powder snow gazing at Lake Nojiri below and the mountains of Kita-Shinano in front of you.

Mt.Hiuchi

About 25 minutes by car from us to the trailhead

 Mt. Hiuchi is Japan's 100 famous mountains. From the summit, you can see the Japanese Northern Alps, the Sea of Japan, the Japanese Southern Alps in a clear sky, and even Mt. Fuji. If you are lucky, you may be able to see ptarmigans.

Mt. Myoko

About 25 minutes by car from us to the trailhead

Mt. Myoko, Mt. Madarao, Mt. Kurohime, Mt. Togakushi, and Mt. Iizuna, they are called the "Hokushin Gogaku (=Northern Nagano and Niigata five mountains)". It is sometimes called "Mt.Echigo Fuji (Echigo is the old name of Niigata)" because of its majestic appearance with a long foot, and is the highest peak of Hokushin Gogaku. Actually there are two summits the south peak and the north.
